Shopping Our Sales

When the doors open on the first day, Elizabeth Ann's Estate Sales assures you that, our customers will find everything in this house that we found in this house when we first accepted the sale. Prices are firm on opening day.

  • Our company is based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance. Our entire team is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, we have established the following procedures to make each sale as fair as possible for those wanting to be among the first to access the great purchases that may be found.
  • No one previews our sales in advance
  • No one shops our sales in advance
  • No special privileges will be extended to customers, friends or neighbors
  • WE DO NOT USE A SIGN UP LIST.
  • Please do not call and ask about the price of items.
  • Our sales are first come first serve. The number of people admitted into the sale opening day depends on available floor space. So do not be discouraged if you are not the first one in the door, we try to get everyone in as quickly as possible.
  • Address of the sales are private and confidential until the day before the sale.
  • Cash accepted. We also accept your Debit, Visa, MasterCard or Discover card with a $25.00 minimum & 3% fee.

During Our Sales

Shopping baskets will be available right inside the door for your convenience. Please leave your large purses and backpacks in your vehicle. We're happy to see your open baskets and/or boxes. If you are buying books, your open boxes are welcome.

Large items you wish to purchase, that may be big, bulky, or heavy such as furniture, you may NOT place your own "SOLD" sticker on it. One of our sales floor helpers will place a sold sticker on it for you. We must have your name and phone number on it and we will enforce that..."It is yours. It's SOLD!!"

Out of respect for all of our customers, we must frown on people who place a sold sticker on an item to "think about it" or "check it out later". Please don't keep others from buying something. We only have a few hours to sell an estate for a family. Be sure that you wish to purchase an item before having one of our helpers place a sold sticker on it.

Elizabeth Ann's Estate Sales cashiers and sales floor helpers are well trained to make your shopping as convenient as possible. We are happy to help you keep your hands free by holding your purchases at the counter while you keep hunting. You can bring your things up to the front at any time to "start a pile". Be sure to give us your name. Please remember that if you give it to us to hold, that means it is sold.

SUNDAY is always sale day. All items $1 - $50 are 50% off!!

Bids on Items

The price you see is our cash-and-carry price. We consider it to be a fair market value. If you would like to take a chance to buy any item, over $50, for less, just leave us a written bid in the bid box which is located next to the cashier. Fill out the bid card completely, sign it to make it a binding offer, and if it does not sell at full price by noon the last day of the sale, we will pull the bids and call the highest reasonable offer.

Removing Your Large Items from the sale

Buying furniture and appliances at our sales for great prices is always easy. Getting it home isn't always easy. Please understand that our cashiers can't leave the registers and our sales helpers do no lifting or moving. When it's possible, you'll find us to be helpful and accommodating, but please plan your move of heavy and over sized pieces BEFORE you buy them. Our cashier's will probably even ask for your moving plan and remind you that refrigerators require an appliance dolly, for example. It is our responsibility to protect our client's property as well as sell its contents. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
